"Yes, this item has lousy instructions. HOWEVER, the quality is superb. I actually bought a K&N for 235, but saw this for 93. I had both sets side by side and they were identical in quality. Heavy gauge heat sheilds, solid tubing, high grade weather stripping, nice welds etc etc. Use your auto shop common sense and you'll save ton on this. Sounds awesome too, nice throaty growl when you step on it."

How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? Multiple Times a Year
"This actually does fit my 1995 Dodge Ram 2500. The instructions were very bad had to look on youtube. They don't tell you that you need to use the factory clamp from the old air intake to install the new air intake. It also doesn't come with a breather hose, bought that from Autozone for about $6.00"
Cons: No breather hose poor instructions

"ordered this for my '97 f-150 and it came in a bunch of pieces with no assembly or installation instructions, called JC whitney and they were unable to obtain instructions from the supplier, searching the web resulted in no instructions as well, returned the product for a full refund, good thing JC Whitney has great customer service"
Pros: looked cool
Cons: no assembly instructions available, no installation instructions available

"Did not fit correctly. I have a 2003 GMC Sonoma V6 with SEFI. The black part mounts differently. I ended up just using the aluminum tube and the filter. The quality seems good though"
