"For my money, this OEM style replacement mirror offers a good fit, good quality, and unbeatable price. I fully recommend this product and am 110% satisfied. The local parts houses listed a replacement mirror over 3 times as expensive as what I paid for this one."

"This review is for Kool Vue TY15L. It arrived when promised and looks great, but the bolts are positioned differently from the way the bolts appear on the old mirror. In the attached image, the old mirror is on the left and the TY15L is on the right. You can see the bolt positions differ relative to the control arm, and also the spacing of the upper one relative to the lower two.
Interesting that one of the photos on JCWhitney's website seems to show bolt spacing like the old mirror, but another photo shows spacing that looks like the new one. I may end up drilling a new mounting hole so I can use this new mirror, because it appears to be the only game in town.
(The old one was smashed by a passing car in Palo Alto; I gorilla-glued a 3" convex mirror on what was left of the old housing).
