Manifold Catalytic Converters
These unique catalytic converters are designed to be a physical part of the exhaust manifold assembly giving it some advantages over traditional catalytic converter designs.
With stricter emission requirements being placed, the use of catalytic converters has increased, their sizes have grown, and most converters are being placed close to the motor.
With this in mind, MagnaFlow recognized this new and growing need for such catalytic converters and have begun to produce a new line of aftermarket manifold convertors designed to meet such performance and space requirements.
Close Coupled / Warm-up Direct-Fit Catalytic Converters
Close Coupled / Warm Up catalytic converter systems are similar to manifold converters that they need to work in tight quarters and need to be designed appropriately.
In order to address these tight space issues, MagnaFlow Direct-Fit catalytic converters use Spun Body technology to manufacture these parts for OEM applications.
Underbody Catalytic Converters are the more traditional designs of the OBDII and OBDI which MagnaFlow has been manufacturing for the past 30-years.
