A Cold Weather Must Have!,

How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? Once a Year
"Make sure you get the right size! I use a half mask under a Zamp full-face modular helmet and it keeps the covered parts warm during the 10 mile ride to work. I regularly ride in temps below 30 and as low as 13 and it offers much better warmth than the scarf I used to wear--my fingers freeze long before my chin does. Humidity here is generally low but I sometimes have to crack the face shield open to prevent fogging and the situation tends to be worse with sunglasses. Not sure if it makes a difference but my bike has a full windshield. End result is I'm still warmer even if I have to crack the shield open--Wouldn't ride without it!"
Pros: Keeps chin, neck, and cheeks warm at below freezing temps.
Cons: Does tend to fog up glasses and full face helmets w/shield down at slower speeds.

"Mask doesn't fit well at all under a full face helmet. I wear glasses and they fog up really bad with the mask. Could be the combination of mask a nd face shield. Works great with my 4-wheeler (no helmet). Works great on the deer stand, too."
Pros: Looks good and is very warm.
Cons: Doesn't fit well with full helmet.

"Used mind the other day & it did cut the wind & keep my face warm. Have the eagle mask & got lots of looks. I have curved sun glasses so it looks like eagles eyes. Fits tight. Get a larger size than you need. Also, had to cut the nose opening & mouth holes larger. Still fogs up a bit but quickly clears up when moving."
Pros: Cuts the wind
Cons: Runs small & needs to be altered. Also, pain to try to wipe a runny nose.

"So far I have used this with my Scorpion shorty at temps in the low 40's. Between this and my wind shield I have yet for my face to feel the slightest bit of cold. It seams to be made very well. It does slide down a little in the back but not enough to revel any skin on my face. Its probably the helmet pushing it down on the bumps in the raod."

Cons: tends to slide down a little
