Pros: easy to install, the first time... Easier to throw away
Cons: everything
"The aluminum bracket has a steel mounting bolt. After a few months the steel bolt gauls into the aluminum and it cannot be turned. Also, this mirror never worked very well. The wind would make the mirror move as you drove the jeep at highway speeds. The bracket and bolt both scarred the paint after the rubber bushings fell off. Total piece of junk."
"Bought last summer. First happy-product looked really great out of the box. Yes, it was simple to install but once I drove my jeep, the darn thing started the most annoying whistling. It starts around 25mph and only gets louder as you continue to accelerate. I will be looking for new mirrors. DON'T BUY!!!"
"These mirrors serve my purpose very well, they stay tight and look great. the only problem I had is the split washers that come with them. I would suggest doing away with them and use a standard washer. I have to put the mirrors inside the hinge hole which is okay but, the split washer when tightened created burrs on the hinge making the doors difficult to put back on. I ended up pulling the bushing out of the top hinge, which I have to now replace."
