" I installed this header on my 1998 Cherokee 4.0L. It fit's very nicely on to head and down to Cat. It does however have two flaws. First, the O2 sensor fitting is located directly underneath my transmission cooling lines and now rattles at times. Secondly, there is a smog fitting for an EGR tube on the #5 header tube. This isn't a problem if you have an EGR. Jeep quit putting EGR valves on In or about 1990. I had to take the truck down to an exhaust shop and them weld a plug on to it. I have purchased Pacesetter headersmany times before and never had these problems. I only write this in order to prevent someone else from having the same problems. Finally, I still loved the headers "
Pros: good power, and torque
Cons: not a direct fit for all Cherokee's

" installed header, airaid intake system with throttle body spacer, added pace setter cat back exaust, runs great, sounds great, very satisfied with this setup. "
Pros: easy install, big boost in power, sound great
Cons: the oxygen sensor mounting is lower on the header than original equipment so wires had to be spliced to reach.
