Great Windshield!
July 6, 2011
By Rob 45
from Silverdale WA
Pros: Perfect fit for a 1980 Honda CX 500. Deflects wind from body and hands.
Cons: None
"I had a Wind Deflector, but the slipstream of wind still hit me in the chest and on the gloves. The cold wind was a limiting factor here in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle. This larger windshield deflects the wind much, much better. I am almost as wind free as sitting in my living room. The windshield fits perfectly and needed no alterations. I put some Rain-X on it to prevent rain globs, and that product works fine on this windshield. I am very happy about buying this windshield. It is first class in every way."

Pros: Great Fit, Easily adjusts to bike.
Cons: None
"This is a great windshield. Take your time at installation and leave all knobs a little loose till you're sure its set right. I had to set mine a little different on the lower ones to allow the windshield to sit without stress on it because of my particular bike and other equipment. It is an excellent windshield. I'm hooked. I won't ride without one now. Well worth the money.
Wash with a CLEAN wet soft soapy rag and no chemicals or gas station cleaners Better just to rinse it with clean water. I just carry some soap in my saddle bag and wash it whenever I get the chance. I've had it two years now and I love it.

Great windshield

Pros: Good coverage, easy install, looks good on bike.
Cons: Bought clear; couldn't find tinted.
"This is the second Plexifairing 3 (N8963A-01) windshield I have had on my 1987 Suzuki Intruder 1400. The first one wore out after 23 years, so now I have a new one. I wasn't sure if I was going to replace the old one or not, but it didn't take long for me to get tired of rocks, bugs, watery eyes, and wind. I live in the middle of the Mojave Desert. When it's 125*F. the wind feels like a hot hair dryer on my fingernails and in the winter the North winds go right through me. I'm not as young as I used to be. It took me about 90 minutes to install without any problems. Fits good and looks nice. Strongly recommend this to you."

It fits Triumph Adventurer
December 11, 2010
By Anonymous
Pros: Easy to install and remove
Cons: some buffeting with crosswinds
"Although JCWhitney says it won't fit an Adventurer, it fits fine.It should also fit the Legend and Thunderbird triples, but I can't be sure of that."
