Power Stop Extreme Performance brake rotors and pads were first introduced in California in 1997. Since then, Power Stop has earned a high reputation for being top-grade by assuring tight tolerances and using the best materials. Our mission is to become the best solution for your car’s breaking problem. To improve the best rotor and pad combination for car and driving style, Power Stop uses extensive testing. We eliminate the stressful selection process of picking the right pads and rotors so check out our application guide for more details.
Currently, Power Stop is more passionate about creating new product enhancements and innovations than ever before. Our demanding criteria mandate pedal pressure deterioration or high pad bite without high temperature fade. We also use independent dynamometer testing to verify brake performance including high temperature brake fade, pedal pressure sensitivity, pre-burnish (green) friction, and speed and sensitivity noise. For more information about this, visit our technical data page.
Power Stop’s Chicago area distribution is strategically located there to be able to cater all parts of the country quickly and cost-effectively. However, in our Bedford Park, IL facility, we only manufacture a limited range of brake rotor applications. A larger percentage of Power Stop performance brake rotors are made to fit our specifications. Over years of experience by our manufacturing partners overseas, blueprints and processes are developed. Each rotor is carefully speculated for the best slot pattern or drill and is modeled with CAD software. Power Stop drilled rotors are also made to maximize convection heat transfer and in harmony with our high mu (friction coefficient) brake pads. We also use high-class castings and carefully countersink the holes to prevent stress risers. With two years warranty, Power Stop stands behind our products against rotor cracking.
With over 200 years of combined automotive experience, the Power Stop team can help you solve your braking problem. Feel free to contact our customer service line at 888-863-4415 or e-mail us as email@example.com.
