How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? First Time
"I put these pro comp springs on my 01 Jeep Cherokee. At that time I heard these springs run tall, so I had the off-road shop install a transfer case drop kit. My drive shaft vibrates at 70 mph even with the transfer case drop kit, which leads me to believe it lifted my back end 4". Not the 2.5" pro comp says it does. Now I have to bring my jeep back in to the shop and see if they can put shims to align my rear drive shaft better, and or take the bottom "space" leaf out of the pro comp pack that does nothing but raise the springs. If you want 3-4" of lift then this is a great price. If you want less than I say take the lower spacer leaf out and it may be close. If you want more exact, then unfortunately you have to pay more for a better company. For the price it's a good deal, but in turn if you have to buy a slip yoke eliminator to run it, then it turns out to be 1000 bucks for a cheap lift. With me a second trip to the off-road shop isn't worth the cheap parts. But if you're looking for a 3-4.5 lift, then good on you. O, and the springs are real tight so speed bumps launch your back end up. (What you don't see in the picture is the "overload spring") check out a real picture at pro comp"
