" These shocks seem to work well after about a month on the Jeep TJ. The ride has improved greatly. They installed easily enough on the front and rear, so why not a full five star rating? The boots that came with the shocks. The rear shocks were the problem. On the rear Jeep TJ shocks the top of the shocks has a T-shaped bracket to bolt them on. I was unable to get the boots on the shocks due to this, and it seems you can't put them on from the bottom either. So the boots were useless on the rear shocks anyway. The front shocks were no problem to install the boots. "

" I recently purchased an 2002 Wrangler that was still sporting its original shocks. I replaced them with Rancho RS5000 shocks all around and what a difference it made. Better handling and ride. "

" I have an 89 Ford Van and the spacers/sleeve that came with the RS5039 did not fit my van's bolts. I had to go to a hardware store and get lucky with some spacers that worked. The RS5117 for the rear came with two spacers, one of which fit fine. Rancho needs to include the second set of spaces in the RS5039 like the RS5117. Once on, they work fine. "

" Our Armada has 75,000 miles and is used to tow a 31' 2005 Airstream. While the OEM struts were of good quality, these Rancho struts are at least two (2) steps up in quality, handling and rebound control. I had them installed by my local shop, and I am VERY SATISFIED with the purchase. The difference in ride control, even compared when the Armada was new, is very apparent. Plus, JCW sold them at a very competitive price and Rancho's 'Shocktober' sale of 4 for price of 3 was even better. "
