"I decided to use a YouTube video to help in my installation. They made it look simple and for the most part, it was. It was a little difficult to lower the exhaust. We decided to keep the plastic appearance cover underneath the car, so that ended up taking more time. We had a hard time following the instructions to make the correct measurements. In the end, we just winged it based on the YouTube video. It actually worked out pretty well because we made the hole larger than it needed to be, but it gave us plenty of working room with the bolts. No issues with the hitch itself, but one of the pre-drilled holes in the car's frame was tight and we were afraid to force the bolt in. We cleaned it out good with some spray lubricant and a wire brush. That helped, and then the bolt went right in. I'm very thankful that I didn't waste my money paying the dealer to install the hitch given the actual level of difficulty. Also, the part itself was cheaper to purchase on my own."

"The hitch works great, is really solid, and is well designed for the 2012 Sante Fe.
That said, one of the bolts around the muffler was extremely difficult to get installed. It is in an extremely awkward position to get you wrist around and get it secured.
I persevered, and now everything is working great."

"Have installed many hitches over the years. This one was a breeze. Did it by myself in about 35 minutes from start to finish. Was a little worried because I had installed 1 on a 96 caravan once and was not looking forward to it."
Pros: Actually ordered a hitch larger that I needed but went on easier than any I have put on before.
Cons: No cons.

"When I opened the box I expected to find a Reese hitch. That's what I ordered and also was on my shipping documents. The first thing I saw said Draw Tight. What was this . Was it going to fit. I looked into it from the manufacture and found they make three brand names. Reese, Hidden Hitch and Draw Tight. All three are the same, and of course would fit my car. I installed it , looks fine, works fine, I was just surprised at first."
