"I bought this tailgate for my Ford F250. I realized I wasn't buying the highest quality item. It arrived in fine shape, I had it professional painted, and it fit fine. I keep my truck immaculate, wasn't hard on the tailgate, and made sure the drain holes were always kept clean.
Fast forward 2 years and the thing is a rusted-thru piece of tin that is barely hanging on by a thread. Again, I didn't expect it to last forever, but this is ridiculous. Save your money unless you just want something to dress up your truck to sell it.
Clearly a case of getting what you pay for. Oh well. Not even worth calling JCW to complain ... I know they'll avoid any responsibility for selling poor quality products."

"Good package, looked good and it had a good sealer on it. Bolt holes for the hardware didn't line up. overall fit was wrong (too long) and when I finally got it installed and sat on it it bent in the middle. The money and time I tried saving by buying a new tail gate is now lost to the time and money to repair the bent new gate."
Pros: It looked good
Cons: very thin metal and it didn't fit
