"I will never, ever, ever buy anything made by this manufacturer again. Our mechanic has had our truck for THREE WEEKS to install this. Our mechanic is very knowledgable and he has said he will never install any part by this company. Customer service (for the manufacturer...not JC Whitney) is impossible to reach. You have to leave a message on their answering service and they don't return your calls in most instances...on the rare occasion they do, it takes days for them to call you back. Our mechanic asked the person on the phone to the repeat something because he could not understand his accent and the man got an attitude with him. The problem is that apparently the manufacturer changed the wiring on the starter, but didn't update the wiring diagram instructions. They won't send you updated ones. Then they tell you to do things the instructions say in big bold letters NOT to do. After three weeks of the run around the not having our phone calls returned, we took it all back out and are returning it...absolutely ridiculous."

"We took it to a nearby shop to get installed & works great. I love getting inside my toasty car as opposed to a freezing cold one. I click it from our room 10 minutes before leaving to work & voila. We bought the bypass that is recommended for our vehicle too."
Pros: inexpensive compared to other brands
Cons: had to take to a shop to get installed was a little more complicated than we thought
