SECRET WEAPON PERFORMANCE COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEMSCreates two different paths of airflow, both flowing at different air speeds. When the two air paths meet, they create a vacuum, multiplying the air speed and forcing more air into the engine at a higher rate, creating MORE HORSEPOWER. CNC mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum tubing is hand tig welded in sections to ensure a constant balance in airflow, regulation of airspeed, positive seal and proper fit. System is carefully tuned. The intake system's tube size, length and secondary tube diameters are matched to your engine's displacement, air intake capacity and air speed to guarantee best performance possible. The high-density polyurethane foam filter has been shown to produce flow rates up to 80% better than conventional cotton filters....superior dirt filtration, too. Filter is easy to clean. Limited one-year warranty.

Poor Engineering,

Pros: Improved gas mileage slightly, as well as torque and horse power, great throaty growl.
Cons: Poorly engineered. Came without some parts, and does not fit properly.
"I purchased this in about januaryof this year, The installation was fairly straight forward, and the results were fairly satisfactory. Small but noticeable gains in torque, horse power, and even gas mileage, not to mention a beautiful throaty growl resonance. Unfortuanately this was short lived. The part did not fit properly and ended up resting on my brake cyllanoid. Over a few months of use, the vibrations from the engine resulted in a hole being worn through the stainless steel shaft. Would not recommend. Great product if it fits, but poor engineering is in its track record. Is it worth gambing 124$ over? Id say no."

Saturn owners, DO NOT BUY,

Pros: The only good thing that came from this intake was a more aggressive sounding engine.
Cons: Lots of piecing together during assebly, DECREASE in performance, DECREASE in throttle response, DECREASE in gas mileage
"After putting this intake on, I took it out for a test drive, and initially was very pleased with the sound. About three blocks away from my house I tried opening it up to see the real performance. I wasn't even able to get it out of 1st before my check engine light kicked on and my 2005 Saturn Ion went into "limp mode." I went back to my house and disconnected the Mass Air Flow meter (MAF) and was able to drive the vehicle normally, but the check engine light remained on because the sensor was not connected. Still, I gave the intake a chance but was SORELY DISSAPPOINTED. I lost 40 miles to a tank, and my car was slower then stock! Since then, I have put the stock intake back on, and enjoyed my cars renewed performance!"

Pros: Increased MPG, aggressive engine roar.
Cons: The instructions were a joke.
"I purchased this Secret Weapon Intake for my 07 Mitsubishi Galant 4cl 2.4L. VERY EASY to install. Took about 1Hr 30Min to install. I'll put it this way, my stock intake was harder to disassemble, than assembling this Performance Intake. The truth is I didn't buy this product to gain more HP,even though it did, merely to improve my MPG, and its increased about 3 mpg. I cant hear the growl of the intake until I'm pushing 3k RPMs, but a performance exhaust system should make the intake more noticeable at lower RPM's. Shipping was super fast. My only disappointed was the instructions! The pictures in the instructions matched my engine compartment, HOWEVER, they were in black and white; making it IMPOSSIBLE to refer to them. Hopefully they show more pictorial examples in instructions and more details explaining the installation."

Pros: looks great, the roar is awsome, and better MPG.
Cons: rubber fittings don't like to stretch around the metal pipes.
"i own a 2000 pontiac grand prix gt. when i installed this intake it took around an hour but i am not a mechanic. my car used to hum when you would step on it but now it really gives meaning to the quote "i love to hear the sound of 215 horses running at the will of my right foot" i used to get 22-23 mpg but now im getting 25-26 on the highway when im not having fun (which is very seldome now). the intake looks good under the hood and it is well worth the price."
