"Seven years ago we purchased one of these from J.C. Whitney Co. for our travel trailer. The truth being...It was a very good buy and economically feasible for our limited budget. We are surprised that it has endured as long as it has in all types of weather. It is an excellent product at a reasonable cost...well worth the money. The gold and white striping is suitable to many of today's color schemes and works well with most."
Pros: Economy of initial purchase in a product that lasts.

How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? Multiple Times a Year
"We purchased one of these awnings and received it quickly. It's a snap to put up and adds extra space to the outdoor area it covers. Highly recommended especially at this low price. Looked at lots of web sites before finding this one...."

"I am so pleased to find your site on line. It took only one week to receive my awning. The quality is outstanding and so simple to assemble and fit my 1979 Prowler trailer. I am telling all my Canadian friends where to shop on line for their camping supplies."

Rope and Pole Awning Appraisal,

"We purchased a 15 foot rope and pole awning for our Vintage 1974 Terry Camper. Since our camper already had a c-channel from a previous awning we were amazed that the one we ordered from JC Whitney fit like a glove!! I suppose the c-channels are universal and since we also recieved a set of four channels with the new awning we can keep them for reserve. The gold striped awning took us about an hour to install, from the time we removed it from the box to when we stepped back to admire it. The only bad thing is we have to mount a board under our doorway to slightly elevate the awning so the door doesn't rub. A fault of our camper construction and not the awning. The poles are sturdy steel and if you set it taunt enough, nothing sags. A great buy for the money. We looked on the internet and saw some for double the price that were not even waterproof."
Pros: Easy up. Sturdy. Shipped to us within days.
Cons: Would have liked a color selection. But the gold stripe is not bad either.
