"I have had this seat cushion about a week. So far, it’s does a nice job of keeping my back cool in the summer heat. The sheepskin is decent although I don’t think there is any actual skin attached to the wool. The backing is fabric. The cushion is held in place by five straps. There is a loop at the top that goes around the headrest, two that go around the seat back and two straps at the bottom that are intended to hook under the seat. The strap that goes around the upper portion of the seat back would interfere with the side airbag, so I don’t use it. There is nothing under the seat of my car to which I can safely hook the bottom two straps, so I can’t use them either. So I just use the top loop that goes around the headrest and the lower strap around the seat back. That strap is down where the seat back meets the seat and where it will not interfere with the side airbag. On the negative side, these straps are cheap elastic. So far these two straps are holding the cushion in place without any problem. However since they are elastic, I know from past experience that they will become stretched out and useless. Considering the price, they could have used a non-slip backing and web strapping with buckles, hooks or Velcro to hold the cushion in place."
Pros: comfortable, fits car seat well
Cons: elastic straps, not side air bag compatable
