Pros: The bars are made of good material and the they look great on my truck.
Cons: They are not easy to install and the instruction were very cryptic. Brackets did not install per the instructions.
"The instructions were very poorly written, did not apply to my specific truck and were wrong in specific details of the installation. I don't know why some of the holes could not be predrilled for the end caps. The rivets for attaching the treads and the end caps were not very easy to crimp, and they will need to be touched up with matte black paint.
The brackets came galvanized for rust protection, but were not painted black like the bars themselves. For the price they should be finished. In addition, the covers for the brackets had to be trimmed to fit against the body. This was not mentioned in the instructions. The brackets had to be ordered separately for an additional $100! Who is going to install nerf bars without brackets?
It took me eight hours to complete the installation, mainly because of the faulty instructions."

Pros: Look nice when there on.
Cons: Took to long to install, to much drilling.
"Purchased westin boards 5yrs. ago got them out
of box and bolted on. NOT THIS TIME!"
