Bestop invented the Bikini™ Top and has been making them for over 50 years. Still the favorite for good weather off road adventures. Made with premium fabric and industrial grade thread and fasteners. Our solid-color Bikini™ Tops last longer and maintain shape and fit because they use factory-spec fabric, the same used in our factory soft tops. Our Mesh Bikini Tops feature non-factory type open-weave vinyl fabric that allows for airflow and increased light penetration through the fabric for a brighter ride. Mesh material does allow water to pass through. Bikini™ Tops come with industrial-grade buckles and webbing. Mounting instructions included. Require Windshield Channels (sold separately) to install which might require minor drilling on some applications:

80-86 CJ5 or CJ7, and 87-95 Wrangler requires Bestop Channel # 51209-01.

97-02 Wrangler requires Bestop Channel # 51210-01 to install; minor drilling of windshield header. Please see our No-Drill Header Bikini™ Tops for easier installation options.

Pros: easy to install, good material, right amount of straps to stop flapping

"The top is great but ordering it from JC Whitney be prepared to wait about 2 weeks. The only reason I purchased it from them was because it was $15 cheaper than Quadratec. If I would have known it was going to take 2 days to process the order and 8 days to ship it I would have spent the extra $15. Overall the top is great but the order/shipping process for JC Whitney needs to be revamped or Quadratec will get all of my business from now on (order on monday with Quadratec get it on Wednesday, it's that FAST). Sometimes saving a few extra bucks is not worth waiting on a product you needed a week ago."

Cons: Canal strip needs to be installed and removed when switching back and forth from your hard top

Cons: Bestop doesn't know what a con is.
"Bestop lives up to it's name. Nothing compares, and never will. This top is amazing, I bought some non-bestop top products that wont even fit. This is the best, don't buy the knock-offs!!!!! Looks perfect on my '88 YJ"
