How often do you shop at JC Whitney.com? First Time
"Overall, I think this was a great purchase for me. I have a hard top that I use in the winter, so I was just looking for something cheap to keep the wind and the rain out. This is perfect for that. However, I usually don't have passengers with me and I noticed that the top sags in the back, so it would be pretty worthless in a rain storm if you had passengers. I installed it when it was really cold, so once it heats up, the top will stretch and hopefully the sag will disappear when i tighten it down. The only issue I had was installation. I tried to follow the instructions, but they were worthless. It was 30 degrees when I was putting it on, so that probably didn't help, but I had a heck of a time getting the plastic lip to stay in the windchannel. Finally, I just put the rest of the top on and did that last and it worked fine. It's easy to install once you get it all figured out. I am concerned about how long it will last. It's not OEM fabric, so it's thinner, louder, and I can't imagine it will last as long. In addion, the top is held on with straps and plastic buckles, I would assume that those buckles won't last to long, but at that price, who cares? Good value!"

"So I got this product because we just bought a 95 Jeep Wrangler that had a similar summer cap but one for a different model. The back part was too short and didn't strap to anything so it made a lot of noise flapping in the wind. After looking at the different models on JCWhitney this looked like a reasonably priced solution. When it arrived it was very easy to put on (though the instructions were not as detailed as they should be). Be aware this DOES NEED A WINDSHILED CHANNEL. The canopy appears sturdy and it took all the tugging to tighten it that we felt was needed. The tie downs are easy to use and very effective. What little strap that is left over after securing is easily tucked away. We noticed when putting on the canopy that there was no way to secure sides to the part of the roll cage over the doors (note this is for a 2 door Jeep). In other words the part of the canopy next to the driver/front passenger head. Other tops I've seen have either straps here or velcro around this part of the roll cage. When we took it out on the road this lead to the canopy over the roll cage door bar flapping at any speed. The flapping is not overly loud but can be heard over the road noise and as it is right next to the ear it can be irritating. We feel it is something that should have been addressed in manufacture. Even with this it is much less noise than the top we had on before. Over all we are happy with the top and don't feel this issue warrants a return but we are likely going to have to modify it to make it perfect. Adding some velcro to the top and the roll bar pad will likely fix this problem. If it wasn't for this issue we would have given it 5 stars."

"This was fairly easy to install. This is a very good value for the money. Was able to use with stock jeep full door brackets for soft top. Kept me dry in a rain storm."
