Side windows and rear curtain window zip out for an open-air ride, and are replaceable if damaged. Good top, but...,

"I bought this top for a 1985 CJ7 that was missing hardware. The description says it comes with all the hardware you need to replace the old top. Not necessarily true. It depends on your doors. Since mine was missing doors and other hardware, I felt this was the right purchase. I chose the one with tinted windows because I liked the look. Unfortuantely, the tinted window version only comes for hard door strikers. Didn't think it would be an issue since it comes with all the hardware, but that is where my problems started. After several exchanges with customer service, they are sending me the soft door strikers and latches. Beyond the door striker issue, I had two other things that stopped me from giving it 5 stars. The zipper pull tag on the rear window broke when I tried to install it and the top was extremely tight fitting, which may be why the zipper broke. They are sending me a new one of those as well. The installation was okay. Lots of drilling is required.
In all, when the top is on it looks really good, plus if you buy the Bestop bikini top the windsheild channel is the same. The two piece doors look great when you only have the lower halves on.
Unfortunately, for old jeeps that don't have the hardware you don't have a lot of choices, so I would recomend the top but temper your expectations."

"Outstanding product. It fits tight, weathers great, and made to last. I don't have one leak inside the jeep and it's still new. Poles do their job and there is room for expantion when summer gets here. This top is worth the money. I also purchased the soft sided doors(both top and bottom) and they are outstanding as well. Spend the money and get the job done right the first time.

"Everything about the roof is great! I was surprised at the quality. I thought because it was a little chaeper then some I had seen on other sites that it might be a little lesser quality, but I was wrong! The hardware and the material is very good in my opinion. My passenger door is not aligning quite properly but I'm still working on that. Overall very satisfied!"
Pros: Very tight roof and easy to install!
Cons: Had trouble with one of the doors.

"Unfortunately, I was told it will fit 'all' glass bodies, but there is no way to attach rear window for a glass body without a tailagate. Factory basically says too bad, only made for tubs with a tailgate."
