Pros: Great cost, nice look
Cons: Leaf spring retainer clip not big enough to reuse
"I bought the lifer my 84 xj and the part were all there and installation was fairly simPle. Only problem are the leaf spring retainer clips it says to re-use them but with the added spring they are not big enough. Other than that I love the lift. Good look and great price."

Pros: Econo Price
Cons: Not a complete kit.
"I am a master ASE tech and I installed the 4 inch kit on a 76 F-150. I had to modify the front springs to get them to fit in the spring cradle, and had to totally manufacture an upper spring mount, as the spring coil diameter is bigger, and factory mount would not fit then new springs. The track bar drop bracket had to be remanufactured as it would not line up properly with the factory mounting bracket, mostly requiring drilling for proper alignment. I bought a drop pitman arm as it was such a crazy angle it wasn't even normal. On the rear everything went together good, however the blocks are not tall enough, as the rear sits lower than the front, personally think it does not look good. Old leaf springs are not blame either as they are new. Both the front and rear required lengthened brake hoses, and had to get a lengthened parking brake cable for the passenger side. Besides the fact that I had to do a lot of remanufacturing to get these parts to work, most of the parts are built fairly well. I drove the truck afterwards, drove nice and rode nice. I am going to do something about the rear saggig look. Personallly I would spend the extra money and buy a better lift, because you will spend more eitherway. Superlift makes a far better kit, and I already have the cost of it then some."

Looks Good

Pros: Good instructions.
Cons: shipping was slow.
"Installed on a 91 cherokee and looks great. Rear very easy to do. However front can be a little tricky. Need to disconnect lower control arms to get enough drop to get new springs in even if you have them compressed. Axle will shift when you do this and you will need a comalong to get the arms lined back up. Front shocks do need to be changed but stock rears can get you by until you can upgrade."

Pros: Fairly easy to insall and quality parts
Cons: wrong size leaf springs
"Installed this on my 1980 CJ-5 and new right away that it was a larger lift than the 4" I had ordered, which didn't bother me at first. Instantly started having issues with U-joints binding and brake lines needing to be extended. Shimmed the rear axle and installed new brake lines and still had shaking issues, wouldn't turn the same to the right, and road like it didn't have shocks at all. Come to find out, after taking it to my family's shop, the springs were for a 6 or 8 inch lift height and everything else was 4". What I don't understand is that 4" is the highest lift for my jeep that I can find, which means I'm finding it impossible to locate a pitman arm and am going to have to completely change my driveline. I wouldn't suggest this kit to anyone, but if they did purchase it, I'd instruct them to have it professionally installed as to find these issues before more problems ensue."
