"The last two rubber transmission mounts I've gotten, not from JCW, were lousy and didn't last more than a thousand miles or so. This I expect will last much longer. They fit properly and are very well made. They do a much better job of controlling powerplant movement - the thrashing about and clutch chatter I had with the stock mounts is gone.
On the negative side, they are harder than stock rubber mounts and pass some engine vibration to the frame and then into the body. The tapped mounting holes are 7/16-14 where stock holes are 3/8-16, which required drilling out the holes in the skidplate.
The hardness is necessary to solve the problems the stock mounts allowed."
Pros: Fit properly, much better than the stock replacements.
Cons: A little harder than stock rubber mounts, larger tapped holes than stock
