3. Air tank size

When picking the air tank size, consider your usage time for the compressor. If you want a compressor that will last for a longer time, go with larger air tanks. On the other hand, smaller tanks are ideal for short-term applications.

How to Use the Portable Air Compressor

Step 1: If you have an electric-powered air compressor, the first thing that you must do is plug it in a power outlet. Once it's plugged, ensure that the on/off switch is at the .off. position before you turn the regulator all the way to left.

Step 2: Next, attach all the accessories of the air compressor including its hoses. After that, you can turn switch the compressor on.

Step 3: At this point, the portable air compressor will run and pressurize its tank until it's full and automatically shuts down.

Step 4: After that, turn the knob of the regulator to your desired pressure setting. When using the compressor to fill your tire, note that it would turn on and off to follow the air pressure setting that you set.

Step 5: As soon as you're done filling your tires with the right amount of air, switch the regulator off.

Step 6: After that, it would be best to drain the air tank by opening its drain valve, which is usually located at its bottom part.

Step 7: When you're done, disconnect the accessories of the portable air compressor and unplug it from the power outlet.
