The Jeep Gladiator is already a beast of a truck, but let’s be honest—there’s always room for improvement. After spending two weeks with my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition, I quickly realized there were a few things I needed to add to make it even more functional, durable, and road-trip ready.

So, here are the first 10 accessories I picked up for my Gladiator—each one designed to make life on and off the road a little easier.

1. NOFEAR Genuine Leather Car Logo Keychain – $13

If you spend a lot of time around water like I do, you don’t want to drop your keys into the lake. That’s why a hook-style keychain is an absolute must. This leather-handled keychain keeps my keys secure and easy to clip onto my belt or a bag.

2. Bulletproof Phone and GoPro Mount – $79.99

Since I’ll be taking the Gladiator on plenty of road trips, I wanted a reliable, rock-solid phone and GoPro mount. This one is built tough and keeps my devices secure, no matter how bumpy the ride gets. Plus, I picked up the passenger-side version because the auxiliary plug is on that side—making it super convenient for charging.

3. Navigation Screen Protector – $10

One of the best features of the Launch Edition is the 8.4-inch touchscreen, but let’s face it—it’s a fingerprint magnet. I found a screen protector that reduces smudges and glare, which should keep things looking crisp and clean.

4. Grab Handle Tray – $13

There’s a grab handle right in front of the passenger seat, and now, thanks to this small drop-in tray, my wife has a handy place to keep her phone, sunglasses, or other small items. Simple but effective.

5. Lock’er Down Center Console Gun Safe – $309

One of the best things about the Gladiator is being able to remove the doors and roof—but that also means you’re leaving your valuables exposed. I wanted a secure place to store important items, so I picked up this steel safe that fits right into the center console.

It’s also great for safely storing firearms when I go to the gun range.

6. Window Tie-Down Straps – $35

If you’re planning to fold down the windshield, you’ll need a good set of tie-down straps. These make sure everything stays secure while off-roading, so you don’t have to worry about the windshield bouncing around.

7. OEM All-Weather Floor Mats – $119

Since I’m planning to take the Gladiator off-road, I wanted heavy-duty, all-weather mats to protect the interior. These are official Jeep OEM mats, and I managed to grab them at a great price.

8. Door Sill Protectors – $45

This truck sits high off the ground, which means my dog has to jump in—and he loves putting his paws on the door sills before hopping up. To prevent scratches and wear, I picked up these front and rear door sill protectors.

9. Rubber Tubing for Fender Protection – $15

One common issue with Jeep fenders is that they tend to trap debris like rocks, leaves, and small twigs. Over time, that can lead to scratches and damage to the hood area. I found a simple fix—rubber tubing that can be pushed in between the fender gaps to keep them clean and protected.

10. Retractable Bed Step – $247

The bed on the Gladiator is higher than my F-150’s, and while I don’t mind a bit of a climb, let’s be real—a step makes life easier. I picked up a retractable bed step that folds out when needed and tucks away when not in use. Call it a grandpa step if you want, but it’s a game-changer when loading and unloading gear.
