Great on 04 GMC Sierra 1500,

"I put this on my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup. It was very easy to install (Took me 8 minutes from the moment I touched the box to install this bugflector). It does help keep rock and bugs off my hood paint which is what I wanted. It follows the hoodline very well and makes the truck look better! The crews and shockmount bushings hold the deflector nice and snug to the hood, and so far does not flap around in the wind. It seems to be a good sturdy product. It matches my smoked window shade visors very well too."

"Great item, easy to install, You just need a screw driver as there are just 3 screws to put in. Took less than 15 min to install"

"Installed on a 1997 Toyota 4Runner. Easy instal except the attaching screws and recepticles would not expand far enough to tightly secure the bug deflecter. Will hit up an auto store and see if I can get bigger screws. Plastic seems sturdy so that shouldn't be a problem."

"I like the look and price, but install wasn't near as easy as other reviews said. They said 5 minutes but I spent over an hour and lost a tool under the hood, could not find it or get to it. The plastic expanding screws aren't long enough so I still don't have the two center (of 4) installed right. Wasn't clear about completely removing OEM rubber strip or to put tabs under it after having to break the OEM plastic rivets. There was no sticky tape in my kit. After a week of running with it, the AVS logo detached from the guard and stuck to the hood - had to carefully remove and could have hurt the paint."
