How To Order Trailer Hitches.

Determine the Gross Towing Weight (GTW) and tongue weight (TW) of your trailer. The GTW is the weight of the trailer fully loaded and ready for towing. The TW is the downward push exerted on the hitch ball by the trailer coupler.Check your owner's manual to find the maximum GTW and TW for your vehicle. "1998 Jeep Cherokee
Great Hitch. Everything was just as expected. I recently purchased a "universal" hitch from another company and spent 2 hrs trying to figure out how to put it together and install. Gave up and took it back to the auto parts store. I purchased this custom Hidden Hitch (it really is hidden, all you see is the receiver) and was able to install it in about 30-40 minutes by myself with a floor jack. I did need a 3 ft. breaker bar to loosen a few rusty bolts on my Jeep, but overall very impressed with ease of install. No missing bolts or parts. Great job JCW on selecting another great product to sell. Thanks.

"I installed the Hidden Hitch on my 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 2WD and everything went very smoothly. I installed it with the help of my 4-year-old daughter and did not have to remove the bumper, or drop the spare tire. The whole process could not have taken more than half an hour, from start to finish. And that's including the time it took to explain to my daughter which piece of hardware to bring me next!
The directions were very simple and easy to follow. The hardware bag was shrink-wrapped to the hitch receiver, which prevented it from being lost during transportation. I could not have asked for an easier installation.
The hitch looks great on my Silverado and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a hitch receiver for their truck. I'm definitely going to buy from JC Whitney again!"

    Great Hitch

    Pros: Perfect fit, excellent quality
    Cons: none...
"quality construction, excellent fit, made in the USA. Didn't have to remove the spare tire or the exhaust pipe... was able to get it in place with a little juggling and then the bolt holes lined up perfectly. I spent more time getting the tools together than installing it. The installed hitch looks great, too."

    Precision fit

Pros: It fit in there like a glove
    Cons: Absolutely none
"I ordered the model designed for the stow and go seats. It is a little more expensive of the two models that fit the Dodge Caravan and I was tempted to order the other one but customer service assured me that the less expensive model would not fit with the stow and go seats. I installed this hitch by myself in 3 hours by laying the hitch on a dolly and sliding it under the vehicle. After removing the three bolts with 15mm and 18mm sockets I lined up the forward bolt hole on either side and inserted the bolt. Then with the floor jack I raised the hitch and discovered that the two bolt holes on both sides were matched perfectly. After installing the four bolts and torking them I was done. Congratulation the Hidden Hitch for a great product."
