"I have a 1977 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 and I always wanted to install a Dixie horn on my truck, but I didn't want an eleven note horn.
Thank you JC Whitney for offering the EXTREAMLY AUTHENTIC 12 note Dixie horn. If you were a fan of the Dukes of Hazard like I was and still am, you will love it."

Pros: amazing horn! loud 2 lol
Cons: instructions not helpful, relay, horn button.
"I bought this horn bout a few months ago and had to set it aside for a while, i got it put on my truck and i used it a few times. AMAZED! loud and awsome! the button did not work entirely bc i would play it a few times and it would keep playin with i didnt want it to. i would open the hood and it would quit playin. So i rewired, took out the relay, new connecters and new button( cool lookin toggle switch) and i wired it all up and grounded the compresser and battrey and it works again! adive, dont use the relay wire or ingition button. not worth ur troubles"

Dixie Horn Gone Bad,

"so i have a 1998 dodge ram 2500 4x4 with a lift and i wanted a dixie horn so i ordered it and had a hard time installing it because jc whitney failed to send me all the requirements to properly install but i finally got it working and it worked great for about 30 times now my compressor has failed on me and my horn sounds so awful i'm embarassed to even think about blowing it....."

Very poor investment,

Pros: sounds good (when it actually works)
Cons: Everything about it
"What a waste of money. I purchased this thing and had it professionally installed. They blew it off 2 times to make sure it was fine. One week later, and maybe 12-15 times of blowing it off, the compressor just quit working. I contacted wolo, and they have flat refused to contact me back. I have a few friends that ALL had the same problem. A friend of mine bought a cheap knock-off on ebay, and he has had NO trouble at all after 3 years, and constantly taking his truck off road and getting the compressor totally covered in the mud"
