BUMMED OUT, DISSAPOINTED
April 2, 2012
By BK SCHYSTER
from Florida's Gulf Coast
Pros: These ar FIRST CLASS Air Shocks.........HOWEVER,.....
Cons: The PLASTIC "retaining air line nuts" that go on the shocks really drop the quality, durability and safety of the shocks
"But the thing that I really am DISSAPOINTED WITH, is these shocks will not fit on my 89' Mustang GT 5.0!!!
( EVEN THOUGH I LISTED MY CAR WITH JC.-W. ) Even so, as I stated before these shocks are overall a great set of shocks, as I have had these shocks on three of my earlier "Muscle Cars," and these shocks never failed me or my cars performance. And as another reviewer wrote if the "Air Line Retainer Nuts we're Brass," that would make the shocks near perfect. You can buy brass nuts ( with a hole, for air line ) at your local hardware store...( as I did )
and put them on, but they just don't seem to "marry-up" with the rubber "O" ring, and that allows the air to escape which defeats the whole purpose of the shock............. Whew.............. anyway I found that if You put "HEAT SHRINK" on the plastic nut and shrink it down ( make sure the piece of heat shrink is the same size as the nut ) and VIOLA You can tighten them on and they won't crack or deteriorate, and the nut is on nice and snug and air tight. GOODLUCK, BK

Loaded 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4WD
March 5, 2012
By Jeep Cherokee Owner
from AZ, AK, SC, GA
Pros: lasted longer than 10 years
Cons: are they still the same quality?
"put these on my Laredo (which had off-road and tow packages) in 1995 to handle loaded rear storage area while it towed a trailer with household goods. Maintained pressure until Jeep was hit and totaled in 2009 (driver of other vehicle jailed, convicted.) Carefully installed with the air valve next to the gas cap and put a good steel cap on the valve stem. Jiggly ride at 60 psi with no load in back. Stable off road. Surprised at the low price. Sad to see Jeep go. Gabriel rocks!"

Hijacker air shocks
May 15, 2011
By masterofpuppets
from Maryland
Pros: Easy installation , all items fit well. The air line kit comes with nice plastic clips , just drill 1/4" holes .
Cons: None
"Nice and easy install, they were a direct replacement for my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. If you are a driveway mechanic you should have no problem installing these. Removing the rear tires was not mandatory but it makes it easier to install the air line kit. There is no reason to over tighten the line fittings , just use your hands if you have a good strong grip. If you over tighten them you will break the fittings.

Cons: plastic fitings
"i put these on my 03 ford ranger 4x4 and i love them. i have a farm and doubted how long the ranger would last deing so light and small but needed something to get to work when my one ton went down for a week i had to use it hauling hay out of the fields after the first haul i knew i had to do something these were the answer. i recomend for severe service and instalation is a breeze."
