One incredible system at a great low price! Heavy-gauge steel, aluminized for corrosion resistance and longer service life. Huge 3-inch diameter pipes and muffler core except for Chevy Blazer and Jimmy, Jeep Cherokee and Liberty, which have 2.5-inch diameter pipes. Mandrel-bent pipes for unrestricted flow. Kit includes high-flow turbo muffler, clamps, hangers and all necessary hardware. Cutting of connector pipe on short wheelbase pickups maybe required.

"I bought and installed this kit on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee
with 4.0L engine. It sounds impressive, but not overly loud. Just right. My son abuses this 4wd off road and the muffler has survived several impacts. I'm very happy with the purchase."

1991 CHEVROLET SILVERADO C2500,

Pros: Complete system. Fairly easy to install. Sounds good.
Cons: None.
"I installed this system on our 1991 Chevrolet Silverado C2500 that has a 5.7L V8. The hardest part was removing the old system. Installing the new system was fairly straight forward and came with instructions. You can actually get a copy of the instructions off of Heartthrob's website too. This system is designed to fit an extended cab long bed truck wheelbase with no cutting. If your truck has a shorter wheelbase, you will have to do some cutting. Since our truck is a regular cab long bed, cutting was required. This kit came with all of the clamps and hangers needed to install it on our truck. This cat-back system is also 16 gauge aluminized, so it should last for quite a while. This system has a nice rumble to it, but isn't too loud either. In other words, if you want an exhaust system that is going to wake the nieghbors up in the morning, then this probably isn't the system that your looking for. Overall, this is a good product and looks good on our truck."

"I installed the exhaust on a 2004 Silverado k1500 series. 5.3 Vortec 4x4. The exhaust was a fairly easy install. I had to adjust the piece that has the flange on it because it is very close to the frame and it rubbed and the directions do not warn you about that. The sound is good. Not to loud but has a nice rumble. It you are looking to wake the neighbors this is not the exhaust for you. All and all a good buy."

"First I'd like to say the installation of this exhaust went without a hitch, the fit and finish was beyond what the price indicates. I had expected fitment issues with a cheaper cat-back, but the pipes and hangers fit as well as any expensive brand. I didn't need any extra parts to finish the install, and I was finished in about an hour and a half including removing the factory system. I don't think a system of this price range is aluminumized, so chances are it will only last a few years. The muffler itself is a cheaper turbo muffler, and I may change it for a Flowmaster. No exhaust tip is included, but it doesn't mention one is. However for the price (esp. with a discount coupon), it is more than worth the price paid. It's lighter than the OEM exhaust, gives a nice deep rumble, and flows better than stock (the muffler anyway, since my truck came factory with 3" mandrel bent pipe). Power improvement isn't really noticeable, but considering my truck was already making over 370hp with other mods and tuner, I won't notice the aprox. 7-10hp this will give. It's too early to tell about MPG improvement, but I expect about half a mile per gallon or so improvement. For the price, even if you got this, a tip, and a better muffler, you're still cheaper than most mid-line systems, but this system if fine the way it is....I just like as much power as I can get. If you plan on keeping your vehicle for more than 5 years, I'd suggest a better brand though just for aluminumized or stainless pipes for longevity. All in all, I'm quite satisfied, and service at JCW was excellent as well."
