"Fit my cb up there which is the big cobra 29 wx, holds all my stuff without moving it too much, have sunglasses, wiring kits, crimper, flashlight, papers, etc.
Funny story promoting the product..... was drifting sideways down a side gravel road and it was all fun and games till i hit glare ice and veered left right into a 3-4 foot snow drifted ditch. Had some big impact to everything else inside like ice fishing stuff in the back seat and anything else back there. but not a thing moved in my overhead shelf!!!!"

Pros: Saves space, holds stuff that would usually be kept on the tranny hump or center console.
Cons: tight fit in mounts, drivers side visor hangs too low for me so i didnt re-mount it.

"Bought the shelf it for my 07 Silverado, mounts had to be custom bent to fit, which is tricky because it is made from heavy gauge metal, so you may need a vice or some large pliers/vise grips. Had to tweak mounts so the angle would fit against the roof and line up for shelf itself. Also, the stock screws you reuse are going to be short and it is tricky to get back in the original clip, once i did that, there is a little bit of play to twist the mount. Once i got that installed, the shelf it fit good. The visors install kind of hokey, and definitely are lower, making viewing stop lights harder to see. But the extra storage is useful and has a big enough lip to hold your stuff. I would give it a perfect score if they can figure out something better to do with the relocation of the visors. I am 5'-10", so if you are much taller, may not be for you."
Pros: adds storage and nice and sturdy
Cons: blocks view and install is a bit tricky.
